Make a Donation

Peterborough Cathedral has charitable status and receives no direct funding from the state or from local parishes towards the £4,000 or so required every day to maintain its operation.

Around £1.4 million is required each year to maintain and operate the building and support its day-to-day activities. This figure excludes restoration work and any new developments.

Please help us to maintain and secure Peterborough Cathedral for present and future generations.

You can make a donation and Gift Aid declaration, if applicable, via the Peterborough Cathedral Virgin Money Giving page. Allowing us to claim Gift Aid on your donation means that we can obtain 25p per £1 from HM Treasury.

Thank you. We are always grateful for any financial gift, no matter how large or small. Your support is greatly appreciated and goes a long way in helping us.

Regular Giving

if you would like to make a regular gift to the Cathedral, please download our standing order form and return it to us. Please also remember to complete the Gift Aid declaration, if applicable.

You can also make a gift directly to the Cathedral by sending a cheque made payable to 'Peterborough Cathedral Development and Preservation Trust' to:
