Wednesday at One

Wednesday at One

This mid-week lunchtime service takes place during term time and focuses on a talk which aims to inform, illuminate and inspire. The addresses on key Christian themes are given by visiting speakers as well as by members of the Cathedral community.

As well as the address, the format of the service includes a hymn and prayers. On the second Wednesday of the month, Wednesday at One takes the form of a Healing Service when there is the opportunity to receive the ministry of laying on hands. The service starts at 1.00pm and concludes at around 1.30pm. Afterwards, a light lunch is served in the South Transept.
