A Tudor-style Pottage and Ale Supper

The Knights' Chamber
Friday 27 January 2017 18:00 - 19:15

In the atmospheric setting of the newly refurbished medieval Knights' Chamber, get into the Tudor spirit with a pre-lecture pottage and ale supper,

Supper will be a tasty beef or vegetable stew served Tudor-style within an individually made loaf. This will be followed by dessert and washed down by Castor Ales' "Old Scarlett" or a glass of wine or juice.

Your serving attendants will be in Tudor costume, and there will be musical accompaniment from the period musicians of Hautbois.

After supper it's just a short walk across the Precincts, enjoying a view of the floodlit Cathedral, to take your reserved seat for the lecture by Dr Suzannah Lipscomb.

Tickets are £40 per person, including supper, drinks and a reserved seat for Dr Suzannah Lipscomb's lecture, or £30 without the lecture ticket. To book please contact: Natalie Freeman on 01733 355315 or email
