Peterborough twins Hannah and Naomi Moxon, who won widespread acclaim for their appearance on The Voice in 2015, will present a programme of classical and light operatic music.
Last year 20 year old Naomi and Hannah Moxon of Classical Reflection stunned the nation following their appearance on BBC’s The Voice, singing an angelic version of Nella Fantasia and attaining over 1.7 million views online. The Voice coach Rita Ora described their harmonies as “clear, clear water.
They will be singing a wide range of music, from classical to pop songs. Amongst their repertoire will be pieces from popular musicals such as Les Miserables or Phantom of the Opera, as well as classical songs such as Ave Maria or Panis Angelicus. They will also be singing their audition song from The Voice.
Naomi and Hannah, with help from fellow musicians, released a Christmas EP entitled The Night before Christmas in November 2015 and their album The Vow was released early in 2016; it features songs such as Nella Fantasia, Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again, and All I Want; along with original compositions written by the British composer, Christopher Broom.
The Wednesday lunchtime recitals are free of charge, but donations are invited so that the concert series can continue into the future.
